WarDogs: Red's Return is an action-packed game developed by Mito Games for Xbox One. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have turned to gene splicing to survive a catastrophic plague. The game's protagonist, Red, is a young fighter who returns home after a year only to find his settlement immersed in conflict. In this retro-style beat 'em up game, players have to fight off hordes of enemies using varying combinations of punches and kicks to execute different moves.
The game features a Story Mode where players follow Red on his journey to unravel the reason behind the current state of chaos in the Suburbs. There are also dangerous streets to navigate and bosses to defeat on each stage. Players can acquire and equip a variety of cosmetic items and implants with effects that let them customize their character to better fit their playstyle.
